TTKS Industrial Company Is Looking For A Capital Equipment Buyer To Join Our Team.

Are you experienced in Supply Chain Management for the industrial construction industry?   We are looking for a Capital Equipment Buyer to join our cross-functional team working closely with proposals, engineering, construction, project management, and accounting groups.   This position is located full time in our Troy, Michigan office.

What this position does:

• Benchmark, qualify, and evaluate potential suppliers
• Work with our Proposals and Engineering groups to understand customers’ technical specifications and schedule
• Manage the RFQ process using a custom database tool
• Obtain and analyze proposals from suppliers
• Manage the internal approval process to prepare and execute purchase orders
• Monitor orders through final delivery, coordinating with suppliers and site personnel to resolve any issues, as well as regularly updating project teams
• Coordinate receiving checklists from sites, obtain tax exempt forms
• Coordinate invoice approval, including resolving any price variances, retention management, and obtaining related documents such as receiving checklists, tax exempt forms, and freight
• Coordinate spare parts lists
• Support projects start up and commissioning to procure additional equipment as needed
• Job Type: Full-Time

• At least 3 years’ experience in industrial construction or capital equipment purchasing
• Strong analysis skills using Excel
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet schedule, cost, and quality goals for multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally
